 Question 1

Ozone normal concentration is in the summer especially between July and August. Its lowest is recorded mainly in October and this is usually n the Antarctica. The reason for this low recording is the absence of the sun which means no creation of ozone and the presence of other chemical products by the stratospheric such as chlorine and bromine which destroy the oxygen in the stratosphere therefore reducing the ozone and causing the ozone hole.

QUESTION 2

During the lowest concentration of the ozone layer, there is the presence of polar stratospheric clouds that due to their cold nature prevent oxygen breakdown. Also there is limited access to sun and other chemicals that are not for ozone such as chlorine are produced in the stratosphere that encourage the destruction of the oxygen molecules that initially are responsible for the formation of the ozone through the hydrocarbonozation. Human activity is another issue as factories release gases like CFCs which also deters the ozone by loosening its bonds and existing in the atmosphere for long periods of times such as several years.

QUESTION 3

I believe that ozone layer is in the process of being replenished. I base my argument on the new world order that is for the idea of going green, recycling and treatment of chemical products before they are disposed. I also realize that the changes on the ozone might still be minimum but its all because it takes time. There is however hope because with a greener environment, more oxygen will be produced and consequently more ozone and a safe earth. Today the concept of conserving the environment indefinitely is more active that it has been in the past so something god will i time come out of it.
