For the paper, can you please include these follow sources into the paper to back up my writing. I try my best pinpointing where the concepts should go, but feel free to change it so it flows. Please include all 10 sources please since I didn’t label all of them and use footnotes to properly site them. please attach a bibliography at the end. Please if you can help me where its say (citation) helping me cite them please. I’ve attached the sources where I found them below the paper.

Explain the difference between these two ideas in the “history of immigrants and public benefits” section of paper, as it directly applies to public benefit

Use this comparison in the “why arent refugees an actual threat” portion of essay. Tie it into the hysteria and the push against it

This big chunk of research and work can go into “syrian immigrants into the US” because this will help strengthen and humanize this part of the essay before going in depth on the more legislative aspects of the paper.
4. Nell Gotanda, “A Critique of “Our Constitution is color Blind.” CRT (attached)
1. Gotanda argues that the legal doctrine of colorblindness is an ideological practice that reproduces existing racial hierarchy and thus white racial privilege. Argues that Color-blind doctrine’s approach to race actually covers four different ideas:
* o 1. Status-race
* o 2. Formal-race
* o 3. Historical Race
* o 4. Culture Race
This section can go in the section of the history of immigrants, but it may behoove you to make your own new section for this towards the beginning of the essay. This Gotanda research is so vast that I don’t see it necessarily fitting perfectly well in a section you already have established, so I’d recommend making a new section centered around the notion of race and how that ties into the racial notions of a travel ban. However, if you can’t do that, then I recommend just putting it in the history of immigrants section.
2. For the remaining 6 sources:
1. use Supreme Court cases
This bit would be perfect for the section on past history of travel bans in countries because you can set precedent in argument with this information
2. Michael Omi & Howard Winant: Racial Formation article (attached),
3. authors like Linda Bosniak,
These two things could definitely fit into the idea of starting a new section based on race and how that leads to travel bans. I think adding that to your essay will only strengthen it because it gives your reader a better understanding (outside of legislative processes) how these things come about.
4. Author Hiroshi Motomura on immigration
The Motomura research might fit well into your challenges/conclusion section because it strengthens the notion of positives in immigration in a country.
