Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Bill
To Whom It May Concern:
It is a great honor and delight to write this letter of recommendation for such a devoted individual like Bill. I obtained my DPT degree at Western University of Health Sciences and have been a physical therapist for about 11 years. I am owner at a facility and provide outpatient services including home health. In addition, I have supervised many students seeking professional advancement in this field. I hope my view and opinion of Bill will be beneficial in the application process during evaluation of this outstanding candidate.
I first came in contact with Bill during November of 2014, when she entered my office looking to volunteer for a project for a Kinesiology class. After the course of volunteering, he presented the idea that he would like to be a physical therapist and pursuit it as a career. It was apparent at the time that she was highly motivated to achieve this goal and would be an exceptionally strong student. I took in Mr. Bill and he became a very loyal volunteer of mine over the past years. Bill has provided 350 hours of volunteer service to support our patients. His experiences have ranged from observing the physical therapy evaluation process to helping design therapeutic exercise prescriptions.
Mr. Bill is an enthusiastic and energetic individual. His ability to grasp evaluative and rehabilitative concepts is extraordinary, as is his understanding of technical equipment utilized in the physical therapy field. His abilities to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with patients, peers and professional staff are exemplary.
I know Bill is highly motivated and interested in practicing physical therapy. He is a kind and compassionate individual who is committed to helping others. I have the highest admiration for his achievements. He has proven an invaluable asset at my facilities and services and will continue to prove an asset to any facility. I advise thoughtful considerations of Bill’s application. I look forward to seeing her future success in the physical therapy field.
