Resources for the Integrative Literature Review
Please closely review the week 6 project requirements as your first step. Brainstorm a topic of choice and then come up with four psychology “content domains” or approaches surrounding your topic of interest. Once you have the topic and domains identified, you can begin to search for six sources for each domain (24 total sources Are required for the final project).
Domains in psychology are also called branches, approaches, disciplines, subdivisions, specializations, types, or traditions. Because there is no complete agreement on how to classify all of the types of psychology, just make sure to choose four different types.
- We recommend consider the following: biological, clinical, cognitive, developmental, educational/school, experimental, forensic, health, industrial/organizational/engineering, positive, psychopharmacology, and sports and performance psychology.
If your favorite domain/sub-field/type was not listed, please feel free to include it in your paper. This list is not complete and for competing views about the types of psychology please see the following resources. Contact your instructor if you are unsure about which domains to choose.

Again, please compare the Week 2 and 6 assignment instructions. Your rationale for choosing each domain does not have to be extensive but may simply include a description of why the domain was included and how your findings fit within the integrative literature review as a whole. Please then follow the remaining prompts for the week two assignment.
For the group of resources in each domain, evaluate the reliability, validity, and generalizability of the research findings and provide a rationale for including the group within the domain. These rationales should include descriptions of how the research findings will function together in the Integrative Literature Review.

List the complete references for each of the six resources. Format your reference list in alphabetical order according to APA style as outlined in the UAGC Writing Center (Links to an external site.).
