RESEARCH QUESTION (Focusing the Study)

For this third part of the report, you should state the problem and then refine and reframe the study. Please ask yourself the following questions in formulating your research question:

– What are you trying to accomplish by this study? Why are you conducting this study?

– What are the goals for this study? Who and what are you investigating?

– An example of a research question could be: “Based on the family’s present conditions, what efforts can be made to improve their situation and avoid future instances of violence and neglect?” Another would be, “What efforts can be taken to stop this family’s cycle of violence and have the children returned to the family’s care?”

– Please utilize the syllabus for this course to better understand the exact instructions for this written assignment.

– Assignments should be written in the format of the most current edition of the APA manual.

– Each paper must be submitted via Blackboard and emailed copies will not be accepted.

– Policies in regard to turning work in late also apply to these assignments.

– Each paper must be double spaced with size 12 Times New Roman font and 1 inch margins on all sides. Please use complete sentences, appropriate grammar, spelling, and references.

– You will also be required to use in-text references in your work in accordance with APA style to avoid plagiarism. Information to help with your writing is provided under the APA resources section of the course information tab.

– Plagiarism detection software will be used to scan each paper and any paper that is determined to have academic integrity issues will earn a score of 0 automatically. In preparing your submissions, please avoid using any information that you have previously submitted for credit in this or any other course for credit (self-plagiarism).
