Written and submitted individually. Include the following:
- Brief description of the original design
- My original design was to create a simple cardboard boat with empty water bottom under it. But later on, my mom purchases a new sofa, and I got access to those wasted EPP packaging. So I decided to change my design. Not only because I don’t want to waste that packaging material, but also because I got inspiration from a TikTok vlogger. He was chatting with a friend, and he said something about comparing to a normal boat, a catamaran runs faster. So I searched up and figured out that all I have to do is to cut one side of my EPP packaging to create that type of boat.
- Describe (don’t just list) the physics principles that were explicitly considered and helpful during design/construction
- Describe (don’t just list) the physics principles that, in hindsight, should have been more carefully integrated
- Include any “lessons learned” or “physics boat wisdom” that you acquired over the past few weeks
