The mystery of evil in Genesis 3
Genesis presents the world as created by God as a reflection of himself.
- How is this still seen today, despite the problems we face?
- In other words, how is there still a cloudy reflection of God waiting to be seen in people or the world around us?

W1D2: “But God intended it for good…”
“But God intended it for good…”Joseph’s closing words concerning his brothers, Genesis 50:20, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good…” are useful as a summary of more than Joseph’s story.
- Find at least one other episode in Genesis over which the same balanced view could have been said. Evil was intended, but God overrode the evil with good.
- You might also wish to relate these experiences to similar events in your own life.
