In this reflection assignment, I want you to think about what we’ve learned in this module and in your reading and to show us your knowledge.
1. Recall what our text says about the City Beautiful movement and the Columbian Exposition of 1893. Go deeper however: research the movement and the Exposition. Find two sites that you feel provide good information on them and give us links to those sites and describe what they offer — what you found interesting. Be specific, not general.
2. Next, imagine that you could go back in time and walk through the Columbian Exposition. What would you have seen there of note? And what specifically would tell you that the Exposition illustrated the ‘City Beautiful’ movement? Be specific, always.
