Topic of Paper- In the United States, we elect presidents through the Electoral College.
-For our paper, please address the following topics:
1. What is the Electoral College?
2. Why do we have the Electoral College?
3. How does the Electoral College function? That is, specifically, how is a president elected?
4. Does the Electoral College provide equal representation to all voters in presidential elections? Why or why not?
5. Is the Electoral College fair to candidates from minor parties (i.e. not Democrats or Republicans)?Why or why not?
6. Is the Electoral College the most appropriate way to elect a president today? Why or why not?
