Statement of the Problem –
Executive Summary – this should also be one half (1/2) page or less. This is a cogent summary of the solution to the problem.
Analysis – this should be a few pages or so and show the analysis/calculations that support your Executive Summary. It is reasonable to include a short write-up and some examples of your spreadsheet analysis in support of your Executive Summary. My goal is to get you to the point where you are using Excel to help analyze financial problems. Learning how to “model” a financial problem, and look at “what if” situations will help make better decisions.
