Part One Instruction:
Think about your culture based on the many different dimensions. Create a diversity wheel that describes who you are. Consider these questions:
- What are the different factors that influenced your choices and decisions up to this point in your life?
- Which dimensions have had the most positive impacts?
- Which dimensions have made the most negative impacts?
What are you the most proud of? What are you most ashamed of?
Part Two Instruction:
Look at the diversity wheel again and assess how you view others based on the wheel. Consider the following questions:
- Which things do you have the most difficulty in accepting about others?
- Which aspects or dimensions of the wheel do you try to avoid contact with?
Which cause you to make assumptions and judgements on others?
