Using the Truckerpath.com website and the sequence assigned to you, route a truck with a refrigerated trailer starting from and returning to College Park, MD; provide the origin, destination, and mileage information for each leg of the trip. As part of the trip, determine the revenue earned, the costs incurred, and the overall profit. Make sure to account for the deadhead time from/to College Park and between loads. If a driver can average 500 miles per day (accounting for standard loading/unloading times), how long will the trip take? Lastly, print the route map.
Assumptions:
1. If a price is not shown for the shipment, assume revenue of $1.90 per mile if refrigerated and $1.50 if not.
2. Assume a cost of $1.65 per mile if refrigerated and $1.40 if not.
3. Assume a cost of $1.25 per mile if the truck is empty.
4. Assume a driver must take one day off after driving 7 consecutive days.
5. You can ignore the pickup dates listed on the website
