if certain info are not in the article, answer the question by saying that it is missing in the research for example – it is fine if all answers are not answers:
- 1. What was the research question and the overall purpose of the research?
- 2. What were the specific hypotheses of the study?
- 3. What was the research design?
- 4. What instruments were used? Are psychometric properties discussed (validity, reliability, norm groups)? Do the instruments seem appropriate and sufficient to define and describe the variables investigated in the study (consider the hypotheses)?
- 5. Where, when, and how was data collected? Do the data collection procedures appear appropriate?
- 6. How was the data analyzed?
- 7. What were the key findings?
- 8. What were the strengths and limitations of the study?
