In order to assist you on starting to craft your Persuasive Speech, this assignment asks you to select two potential topics for your Persuasive Speech. For each topic, you must write out a proposition statement, explain why this would be a good topic for you to give your Persuasive Speech about and why your audience should be persuaded (and/or care) about this particular topic. You should also rough out what your three main points (reasons) will be for each of the proposed topics and start thinking about where you might look for supporting material (what books, magazines, websites, interviews, etc. might you look at?).
This is due on Sunday at 10PM, but I urge you to get this done earlier so I can provide you with feedback and you have enough time to write your outline and practice your speech before you present it in class! I’ll grade and provide feedback as they come in to the Dropbox.
