- Clinician Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS)
- Each student will select one psychological assessment. Students will then investigate the assessment’s development, research support, scoring and interpretation guidelines, and clinical utility. Students are to present a detailed summary of this information to the class for their chosen assessment, as well as provide the class with a copy of the assessment of interest provided that assessment is publicly available. Presentations are expected to last 5-10 minutes each. Grading will be based upon the extent to which available, requested information is presented and the degree to which a student relies upon presentation aids (i.e., do not read word for word from your slides).

- Brief Description of the Instrument (general type, population, purpose of the instrument, scores provided, type of items)
- Validity evidence
- Norm group (if applicable)
- Practical Features (administration procedures/time, scoring and interpretation procedures, adequacy of test manual, cost)
- Previous reviews (Mental Measurements Yearbook, other sources)
- Evaluation of Instrument (strengths, weaknesses, final recommendation for if and when to use)
