Hi, I am currently conducting an experiment testing inattentional deafness/change deafness, seeing if participants can notice sounds, and will analyze the results. Ten pages due on May 1st at 7:00am: APA format, 4-7 references, intro will include background information, a literature review of those sources, conclusion, and last paragraph will introduce my experiment which will include the hypothesis, independent and dependent variables, and why it is important to conduct this study. Next, will be the method section which will also include the population, characteristics, etc. of my participants, and why they agreed to participate. After, will be materials. procedure, results which will include overall descriptive stats, correlation, group comparisons – means and SD of each group, and a summary of the main result at the end. Finally, will be the discussion which will talk about whether my hypothesis supported or not and what data tells us that, will give explanations as to why the results turned out the way they did, can compare results to theories / other results other people had, weaknesses of the study, implications of the experiment. Tables and figures will go at the end and than the reference page.
