Psychology Experience – Students have a choice of one of the following options as a way to further experience psychology:
1- Students can participate in a research project on campus. (Must be 5 hours of research participation to receive full credit.)
2- Students can meet with a Graduate level counseling student for 4 interviews. Students must identify something they would like to learn about themselves. For example, “why do I…” or “how can I better handle….”
3- Attend 4 events on campus (must turn in evidence of attendance), which can include speakers, theatre events, etc.
Once a student completes their experience, a 2-3 page typed reflection paper is due. Specifically identify what psychological constructs you were aware of, any new insights you may have had, what you thought of the experience, etc.
