This assignment focuses on ethical issues when working with children and adolescents. You will need to first read the three assigned journal articles (EACH ARTICLE WILL BE ATTACHED). Then you will write a paper that includes the following:
- A description of ethical issues and questions of professionalism that might arise when working with children and adolescents. Be sure to utilize the assigned readings and cite properly.
- Provide a new example (i.e., not an example from the readings) of a dilemma regarding ethics and/or professionalism that might arise when working with children and adolescents. If you currently work with children and adolescents, or have in the past, feel free to write about an actual dilemma you or a colleague faced. Otherwise, you can create one. Be sure to clearly explain the setting, those involved, and the nature of the dilemma.
- Explain how you would (or did) respond to this dilemma and why. Justify your response using information from the assigned readings (be sure to cite properly).
Tip: Use APA-style headings to organize your paper. This helps you to ensure you have included all required elements and headings help to guide your reader.
Length: 4-5 pages
Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
