Getting started on a research paper is often the hardest part. I’ve observed over the years that some students create terrific annotated bibliographies that contain articles that are perfect for their paper, but when it comes time to start writing the actual research paper, they freeze. This assignment is designed to ease you into writing the research paper.
For some of you, this may seem unnecessary because you’ve already got the paper planned out in your heads. If this is you, please just use this as a chance to put those ideas on paper and tweak them a bit. But, if you’re already wondering how you’re going to turn your annotated bibliography into a paper, this assignment will hopefully give you a good start.
Please use the attached WORD document as a template for what to include. Omit/delete anything you don’t need for your final outline assignment. Add pages for your title page and reference page. Be sure to make changes to the outline that adapt the document to your topic. Unbold anything that should not be bolded. BE SURE TO READ THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE ASSIGNMENT.
This assignment is worth 30 points.
