This assignment is pretty straight forward. Social Psychology courses have deep impacts on students due to the content of the course and how it applies to the real world around you. For your written assignment, you need to pick one topic from this semester and tell me how you would explain that topic to a child. So many of the topics we have covered are important for children to learn, but can sometimes be difficult for them to understand. This assignment requires 600 words to be completed. You can choose any approach to this assignment because you get to pick literally any topic from the entire semester. The assignment is worth 50 points and 25 of those are for accurately explaining the topic and the other 25 are from your ideas on how to present the topic to a child. It is due on the very last day of class.
Some ideas to help you would be to think about how you would present the topic (would you use a book, draw pictures, find a movie that shows it, etc.), what dialogue would you create with a child, and even how would you make sure they understood the topic. You can even pick more than one topic to explain, if you are having trouble meeting the word requirement with only one topic.
If you use outside sources, you MUST cite them and give me a works cited page. As for style, I am fine with MLA or APA formatting. The topics to chose from are behaviors and attitudes or Culture, genes, gender.
