You are to write a psychological review of a children’s story (e.g., Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Three Little Pigs, etc.). The story does not have to be of American origin; it can be from any country. Your responsibility is to analyze the concepts of or within the story to express how psychology plays a role in the creation of the story. What theories or concepts are supported by the story? How does the story relate to areas of psychology that have been discussed in class? What does the theory mean as applied to the story and what is your understanding of the theory/concept used in your paper. It IS NOT a book report! It is NOT you retelling the story!
You CAN discuss what the story is about but I am only interested in how you apply your understanding of what has been discussed in the class.
