In this class you will be assigned to watch movies and write a paper on the science you observed. You will submit these papers on Webcourses but your papers will be run throughTurnItIn.com.  If you have never used TurnItIn, this website checks your paper for plagiarism.  Therefore you should be really careful about what information you use from other students’ papers,  the web, books,  journals and, in general, any source.  Changing just a few words in a copied sentence does not work!  The entire sentence must be yours.

The movie has been pre-selected for you:

•Tenet (2020) with John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki.

Notice that the grading of the papers is such that to encourage good effort and desire to learn.  The points will be awarded independently of any mistakes you make on the science.  Grammatical and syntactical mistakes do not count against you.

However, many such errors may obscure the content of the paper and the teaching assistant may award 1-2 points only.Since the grader spends a lot of time reading and evaluating paper, the assignment of the points willNOT be negotiable after the points have been assigned.  Therefore, take the necessary steps when you write your papers to eliminate any possible issues that can raise red flags when seen by the grader.  Read the following rules carefully.
