1. I have over 13 years of experience providing investigative services with the Department of Children and Families (ChildNet). While holding the position of Child Advocate, Drug Court Specialist and Supervisor of Case Management, I was responsible for conducting ongoing investigation services/risk assessments to assess the safety and well-being of children involved in the Dependency System. My duties included but were not limited to the following: Conducting interviews, risk/safety assessments, and home studies to address issues raised; determined findings; reported information and indications of abuse, neglect and/or abandonment into Florida Abuse Hotline Information System. I was responsible for bringing cases of child abuse and neglect to the attention of the court system, determining what constitutes legally admissible evidence; meets “diligent efforts” requirements; developing techniques for testimony regarding open and closes files related to the families being served; Developing and presenting status reports to court authorities; responding to and providing required documents to file petitions; attending and testifying at depositions, trials and other court functions as required. Preparing various weekly/monthly/annual reports concerning activities performed, i.e., investigations, progress/status reports etc. As the Human Services Supervisor for Family Success, I am responsible for ensuring that all Broward County citizens are treated equitably and receive SunSational service when applying for assistance through various programs. As a result, I’m in charge of analyzing files to see if residents are qualified for assistance based on the agency’s policies. This necessitates a thorough examination and monitoring of all documents for the purposes of auditing and ensuring that no fraudulent conduct has taken place. I have many years of experience conducting investigations and ensuring regulatory compliance in various sectors of the workforce.

2. Describe your work experience in dealing with human rights investigations (e.g., local ordinances like the Broward County Human Rights Act, and, particularly, employment, fair housing, ADA, and public accommodations cases).

3. Describe your work experience in dealing with internal employment investigations (e.g., discrimination, harassment, ethics, and improper procedure complaints).
