Professional Attributes and Ethics- Part 1

Welcome to week 2! Great job on week one! Week 2 will focus on philosophies, theories and models. Remember to check the course materials for this week. The chart needed for the assignment can be found under this section.

I have posted the discussion questions for this week. The due dates will be Wednesday and Friday of this week (and every week). Don’t forget to post your reply and reply to others posts as well.

Complete the “Philosophies, Theories, and Models Chart” found in the course materials section. Don’t forget that after the chart is completed, there is a reflection paper as well.

Assignment Help

Part 1

Use the “Philosophies, Theories, and Models Chart” to complete this part of the assignment. Be sure to include developmental milestones in the theory descriptions.

Part 2

In a reflection of 200-500 words, discuss the theory or theories that resonate the most with you and how you will utilize these theories in your teaching. In addition, consider how you will apply these theories to teaching students with exceptionalities.

Let’s break it down:

Complete the chart thoroughly. One sentence descriptions are not sufficient. Make sure you describe the theory to someone who has no idea what you are talking about.

Make sure your connections to early childhood today are specific and practical. How does the theory influence the way we teach? What parts of this theory do we incorporate into our classrooms?

Remember more information is better than less!

If you use the same source, you just copy and paste it in each source box.

If you have any questions- please ask!
