Update: I’m going to give you two options on this assignment:
- You can record your presentation in Powerpoint and upload the file.
- You can also submit a 4-page written “presentation” along with powerpoint slides.
- For the paper format, separate by powerpoint slides. Use headers such as “Powerpoint Slide 1” to separate the information.
- You will submit two files: a powerpoint file and a word file.

For this assignment, you will review the following Strategic HRM case developed by SHRM: Aetna Investing in Diversity Case_Final.pdf.
You are going to be filling the role of Raymond Marcos, Chief Diversity Officer @ Aetna. The case revolves around the need for Raymond to prepare to make a presentation to the company’s board of directors. Your job is to review all the information Raymond has compiled, prepare the presentation, and present it to the Board. In this case, Raymond is responsible for making “logical arguments and a compelling case to the board to support the company’s continued investments in diversity.” Raymond has compiled a lot of information so you will have to choose the most relevant information to make the best case to the Board.
In your presentation, pay extra attention to the use of metrics to support your assertions.
Your presentation should be a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 15 minutes (the SHRM document says he has 35 minutes for the presentation; however, you are limited to 10-15 minutes).
