Hospitality for Marketing:
Students will choose a case study from the text to assess their understanding of key marketing concepts and their ability to analyze situations from a marketing perspective. The student will prepare a SWOT Analysis in Word format, Times New Roman Font, 12 point, double spaced 2-3 page paper in APA format including a title page and bibliography.
THIS PAPER IS TO BE WRITTEN FROM A MARKETING PERSPECTIVE
- Prepare a summary of the case study.
- Provide an overview of the company or organization – who they are, what they do and how they do it. These are real companies so allot of information will be available from the company’s own website.
- Identify key stakeholders and what their roles are. What is the current marketing strategy and who is the target market now?
- Identify and discuss the Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats currently facing the company
- Identify the key marketing issues the company is currently facing and how are they going to be overcome.
- Using no less than three (3) peer reviewed sources (not including your text), fully answer the questions being posed by the case study – Remember this is about marketing not business operations. While cost saving and efficiency are important, they are not the focus of this class. We do that in Revenue Management!!
- Make sound recommendations addressing the major issues presented and have documented support. Use the Online (I WILL GIVE YOU SPECIFIC SCHOOL AFTER DOWN PAYMENT) Library
***In order to complete this assignment, you will need the specific case study I am using. Once I shake with someone, I will then send pictures of the text for the case study I want you to use.
***You will need to retrieve your three peer reviewed sources from my school’s online library. Again, I will provide you with the login information for my school’s library ONCE I SHAKE WITH YOU.
