Recap the details of the Case Study by presenting an information session that you would conduct with the Patient and their caregiver/spouse/family member.
· So you would be providing to them basic information of the impact of the disease on patient’s occupational performance.
· Discuss how cultural , physical contexts, etc, impact a patient’s performance
· Stress the importance of medication management/routine and engagement in occupational performance so that the Patient can live life to its fullest.
· State the role of technology in providing support to the patient and the Practitioners in enabling treatment (especially now in a pandemic)
· State the role of the Occupational Therapist and the Occupational therapy Assistant in the treatment process,
· and mention other professionals that may contribute to the Patient’s Care Plan (e.g., Dietitian, MD, Social Worker, Teacher, behavioral therapist, Psychologist)
