POLS 235 TSU Personal Assessment About Our Democracy in This Semester Essay

Writing is an integral part of this course. Students will have several opportunities during
the semester to write for self-reflection, to learn course material, to assess students’
comprehension of chapter topics, and to evaluate organizational processes via critical
thinking skills and written communication.
Students must prepare an essay (three pages, minimum) discussing some aspects of the
readings for the week. One topic will be provided. Papers must be delivered
electronically to the instructor on or before 11:59 pm, Wednesday April 28, 2021.
1. The assignment should be double-spaced and written in 12-point font
2. The assignment must be a minimum of THREE pages. Points will be
automatically deducted for essays shorter than two pages
3. Your essay must be clear and concise. Your arguments must be fully supported
with details of your experiences in the class this semester
