This Assignment will be the first step in preparing your policy brief.
Using a traditional academic essay format, explain a problem that requires a public policy solution. Using the two articles that you found during your research in Unit 1, compose a brief essay (3–5 pages in length, double-spaced) that compares the opinions and perspectives contained in the two articles.
The essay should include an introductory paragraph, paragraphs for both articles’ perspectives, a comparison and contrast of the two perspectives, and a concluding paragraph. The articles should both be from primary sources. Be certain to include in your introductory paragraph an explanation of the problem requiring a public policy solution that the two articles refer to.
