Reflecting on your current position or a previously held position within an organization, write a one page paper answering the following questions:
1. How are teams used where you work? Are they part of everyday functions or used only for special projects? If teams are not used, describe one way you think teams could be used to deliver higher quality care. Identify the role you have played on a team and how comfortable you felt in that role.
2. Describe one strategy a manager could use to promote friction among ideas while minimizing friction among people on a team.
3. Describe a staff meeting you attended that was either successful or unsuccessful and explain why you felt the meeting was that way. If it was unsuccessful, what do you feel that the manager should have done differently during that meeting? If it was successful, describe the skills or actions demonstrated by the manager that made it successful.
