Please Write your individual debrief report for the “CROSS-CULTURAL NEGOTIATION SIMULATION “Mushroom” “
– maximum 4 pages (double or single spaced, your choice) and a page of references. ( It does not have to be 4 pages)
– Basically this is a group assignment which we had to divide into groups ( we are group Australia), then:
1. write a paper (Attached document named “Australia Negotiation Paper“)
2. Each member took a role in the negotiation ( Mine was COO: Avery Carrel)
3. Then meet with other teams (Japan, Italy, France) to negotiate the terms in the attached document named “Australia+Negotiators+Private+Information” , The green Text in this document was our group role in the negotiation.
4. Write individual report. “which is this part”
I attached a document named “Negotiation Notes”, which is notes for the results of the negotiation we did with other groups.
(So you only need to do part 4)

Please write this as a report — with an introduction, headings as you find appropriate, and a conclusion. Remember to tie your answers to concepts (from the negotiations, lectures, discussion boards, videos, class activities > like BATNA and ZOPA..etc. ) and cite to them in the references section (any citation format that will allow me to know and find what you’re referencing).

I’m looking for you to answer the following questions (any order) in the body of the paper:
* How did the negotiation go compared to what you planned in your group Negotiation Plan? What kinds of things surprised you — for good and bad? What kinds of things were you not surprised — and ready for?
1. thought it wont take more than 45 minutes but it took up to 2 hours, it was great.
2. as for the plans, please compare the paper and the notes ” the results”
* How do you think you did as a team? Were you successful? Why do you say this — explain your reasoning.
1. we did good, I think we succeeded the negotiation. ( See the notes and the teem private info document)
* How do you think you did as an individual? How did you add value to your team?
1. I did good. I helped to convince other teems with points (3,4,5), ( See the notes document)
* How do you think your teammates did? What behaviors did you see that you’d like to emulate as a negotiator — and were there any behaviors you would not like to replicate?
1. Every thing my teem did was fine.
*What two readings that we did this semester most relate to your experience with this negotiation? Why – how do they apply? Do you think they had their ideas right, or were they missing something?
1. I will attach a folder with all chapters summary, you may go through them and choose which one go best with this)
* Overall, how useful do you think this cross-cultural negotiation exercise was to you as a student of negotiations?
