The first video is a panel of jazz musicians talking about Randy Brecker’s jazz club “7th Avenue South” and the “Loft Scene“. Both are important and interesting but focus on the “Loft Scene.” What was it? When was it? Who was involved? Why is it important? Etc. (research will probably be needed). The second video is Herbie Hancock’s hit single “Rockit” from 1983. What was it? When was it? Who was involved? Why is it important? Etc. (research will probably be needed). The last video is from the Kennedy Center Honors Ceremony honoring Herbie Hancock in 2013. Snoop Dogg thanks Herbie for something at the end of the short performance. Is it true? Why or why not?
