Errors’ shown on page 497 – 499 offer
a quick study on the application of Six Sigma in reducing medical errors.
The other article titled ‘Lean in operation theaters’ by Singh (2014)
offers a more expanded study of an application in medical surgeries.
Because both cases involve Six Sigma, we might expect to see similarities in
the way the cases involved different stakeholders and use process mapping to
understand requirements.
Read
