Focus especially on the concepts that I introduced in the lecture (e.g. mystery, spectacle, drama, new beginnings, the hybridity of monsters, the rage of desecration.) Does Timothy Beale’s quote, “It is a revelation of something that defies its own revelation” apply to your selected passage?

2.) Talk about the notion of apocalypse and its role in contemporary culture. Is still as prominent in the popular imagination as it has been historically?
How do the apocalyptic scenarios and prophecies of today relate to those that I outlined in my lecture? Refer to specific examples.
