writing a proposal for bioengineering subject

this is a writing assignment from a biomaterial that I need to read one NHI R21 journal and write about it like I do peer reviewing. I need to provide 10 outside sources( some sources can be overlapped if that support my hypothesis)

the way that the prof wants will be provided to you; I have a sample.

it is not peer reviewed because the prof wants us to do kind of peer review.

I have the article(it has to be the article I found because I already told the prof that I am going to do this), the sample(like exactly how it is supposed to be written), and the article for the sample.

it has to be one page ONLY and single-spaced. You will see it from the sample.

this is due Friday morning (eastern time).

Also, I would like you to answer to the question to these: are there any pitfalls?Any alternative plans to address the potentialpitfall(s)?What are the future directions?

I found one pitfall that the mechanism for this compound has not found yet and they will focus on this more in the future. but I am struggling with finding the alternatives and if there’s any other pitfalls.

my first tutor just did finished it but he did it in a wrong way.

he was supposed to use all 10 different sources that do not belong to the original paper but he used all 10 from the original paper so I had to post it again with the urgent mark on.

please help me.

it is only one page but you may have to find and briefly skim 10 different sources that do not belong to this.

the previous tutor actually could find 2 or 3 different sources so you have to find 7-8 more sources.

because it is only one page, it should not be too bad.

the reason why you have to skim the sources is because you only need to write like one sentence for each sources.

so please help me!

the article is attached.

I will tip you more if you deliver it on time with all requirements

.doc file | OTHER | Other | 1 pages, Single spaced

So the article is about collagen that is used for skin burn wound healing.

The article is talking about some successful cases like rabbit and rat and stuff.

basically the article I gave you is original paper meaning it is not peer reviewed.

so what the professor wants us to do is we do kind of peer reviewed.

so TA said “There can be overlap from the paper citations if they support your proposed work-but there should be citations from outside because your project should be proposing work that goes beyond the paper.”

I will give you 3 papers: the first one is just a sample of how it has to be written like.

the second one is for the whole thing. remember? this is a proposal right? the second one has whole paper with EXPLANATIONS on of how to do the proposal. the first tutor missed this so he did it wrong.

the third one will be the GUIDELINE you have to follow

look at page 27 from the PDF named sample 21

ere is what TA said earlier: The original paper your group cited for your presentation is the biomaterial topic you will base your hypothesis/question from. This hypothesis/question will be what your 2 specific aims are designed to answer. Separate from that your aims page should cite literature sources throughout to support what you describe as the problem you are addressing as well as the way you will approach the aims. Your proposed aims should be supported by 10 references throughout. For example a citation could be a reference for how you will modify your material or how you will measure the presence of a particular cell type. The specific aims (including background, etc.) are limited to 1 page, and the citations will be their own page.

There can be overlap from the paper citations if they support your proposed work-but there should be citations from outside because your project should be proposing work that goes beyond the paper.

1. The citations has to be in nature format

2. you only can cite the sources that supports your hypothesis or the subject.

3. remember there’s guideline and also when you look at p27 of R21 document, there’s directions of what to write: the first paragraph is for thesis and summary and from the second paragraph, you need to write for future I think?

4. you can use A FEW sources from the original paper of MCPs ONLY IF it supports the idea or hypothesis I think

5. the format is in the guideline. I think Arial 11pt margin all the side etc

6. if possible, please answer to the questions I ask in the original posts: are there any pitfalls?Any alternative plans to address the potential pitfall(s)?What are the future directions?

I found one pitfall that the mechanism for this compound has not found yet and they will focus on this more in the future. but I am struggling with finding the alternatives and if there’s any other pitfalls.
