The purpose of the presentation is to show how media sources (television, film, books, podcast, magazines, newspapers, music etc.) cover these selected topics/concepts. Specifically, in their presentation students are to provide multiple examples illustrating where these topics/concepts are covered accurately as well as where they are misrepresented in media. The presentation will be followed by a brief question–and–answerperiod/discussionlead by the group.The instructor will allot class time early in the semester for groups to meet and plan their presentation. A day before a group presents, they will need to email the instructor a one–page outline of their presentation.
I will send you our textbook and you should read the chapter 9 and make a powerpoint meet the requirements I have listed above. The whole powerpoint should be around 12 pages and you should also write an one page outline of the presentation. I will also send you an example on how to do this.
