Option #1: Business Requirements Document

Select one of the six cases represented in the web article:

Rao, L. (2010, July 17). How social media drives new business: Six case studies. Retrieved from http://social.techcrunch.com/2010/07/17/how-social-media-drives-new-business-six-case-studies/ (Links to an external site.)

Create a business requirements document (BRD) that lists three to four functional requirements based on the case that you have selected. (There are many possible formats for a BRD—select a format that best suits your case. One example is found at http://www.isixsigma.com/implementation/project-selection-tracking/business-requirements-document-high-level-review/ (Links to an external site.).) Your document should include a table, which consists of a minimum of the following components: Priority, Requirement Description, Rationale, and Stakeholders Impacted.

Be sure to properly organize your writing and include an introduction, headings / subheadings for the body of your work, an analysis and recommendations (if applicable), a conclusion, and a list of references. Consult the assignment template for a more complete list of requirements. Assignment template: http://csuglobal.libguides.com/ld.php?content_id=21534702 (Links to an external site.).

Your BRD should be a minimum of one page in length, include a cover page and reference page, and conform to the CSU Global Writing Center (Links to an external site.). Include at least three scholarly references in addition to the course textbook. The CSU Global Library is a good place to find these references.
