Recruitment

Recruitment is usually a formal process that a company follows to find applicants for employment. There is a process that includes planning, recruitment and employee selection. Consider that you are an industrial and organizational psychology professional and are hired by a company to help them create this process. Human resources have already settled on the number of employees they are looking to hire, and the set of skills needed. They want you to help with the recruitment and selection process.

As you reflect on the multifaceted aspect of this, please respond to the following:

  • Discuss the effectiveness of four different recruitment strategies.
  • Explain the steps to take in order to create effective interview questions.
  • How would the two ethical standards you chose be addressed as an industrial and organizational psychology professional?
