Scenario (30 points)
Abbey, Bob, Catherine, and David are playing a round of golf together at the local municipal golf course. On the first hole, Abbey tees off first, then Catherine, Bob, and David. Abbey hits her tee shot in the fairway, her second shot on the green, and proceeds to have three putts. Catherine hits her tee shot in the rough, her second shot in the fairway short of the green, chips her third shot onto the green, and makes her first putt into the hole. Bob hits his tee shot in the fairway, his second shot into the sand trap to the right of the green, hits his third shot onto the green and into the hole! David hits his tee shot into the rough, hits his second shot onto the green, and takes two putts to hole his ball.
On the second hole…
Abbey hits her tee shot in the fairway and her second shot over the green into a water hazard. She takes her drop, hits the next shot onto the green and takes one putt. Catherine hits her tee shot in the rough, her second shot onto the green, and makes her first putt into the hole with the flagstick in. Bob hits his tee shot out of bounds, his next in the fairway, hits his next shot onto the green, and takes one putt into the hole. David hits his tee shot out of bounds, re-tees and hits his next shot in the fairway. He then plays his next shot over the green into the same water hazard that Abbey played into. David takes his drop, plays his next shot onto the green, and takes two putts to hole his ball.
