For this discussion you will use Charts and Columns (I have attached this doc) s well as the work you did in class on hooks, and we will come up with ways that we can compare Hook’s essay to Wright Mills Essay.
Five Column Headers
What is the best way to compare the two texts? What elements do you want to hunt for? Do you suspect there are some common themes or ideas in the two texts (the bell hooks and the C. Wright Mills)? Is there something about the way they each write that intrigues you? What have we learned about so far that they each might be commenting on?
Thinking about the above, suggest column headers that would lead to a useful comparison between the two texts (the hooks and the Mills). You will need to come up with five column headers. One of your column headers must be either ethos, pathos or logos. The rest are up to you!
