Paganism and Polytheists Discussion (WOMEN + RELIGION)

after you have read the Hinduism readings to add the polytheists to the
topic. Using 3 different myths, one from each week, what did you observe
was a common theme about women (goddess or human) that seems to span
multiple cultures? You can look at requirements in their roles as
mothers or wives, their status in society compared to men, their
believed in “powers” as women, or any other thing that struck you as you
read. This is an analytical assessment, looking for commonalities in
expectations of or requirements for women’s behavior in society.These are relatively short posts so you really need to pick a single
commonality and then focus on using and explaining your 3 examples as
proof.SUGGESTION: an easy way to set this up is to make a table as you review
what you read, that names each woman/goddess and then list her roles and
behaviors and how they are described through the men’s/gods’
perceptions. See the same role and response, you have a commonality.
