OUTLINE GUIDELINES
 You must prepare an “Outline” with the title of your paper, a brief description of the topic, and a reference.
 The description of the topic (should be Introduction) should have 2–3 paragraphs (each paragraph should
have 5–6 full sentences).
 The reference should include a minimum of eight (8) sources (see below).
o up to three (3) Internet–based sources (e.g., newspapers, professional magazines, media coverages…)
o up to two (2) government reports (e.g., FBI, BJS, GAO, SS, DHS, DOJ, etc.)
o a minimum of three (3) academic journal articles
o a minimum of one (1) book
 The format is:
o Title
o Introduction
o Reference
1. Internet Source
2. Government Report
3. Academic Journal Article
4. Book
