This week the focus has been on vision and motivating change. Leaders often take their vision and share their dream with others in motivating change to make that vision a reality. Dr. Martin Luther King is a prime example in his speech “I have a dream.” Dr. King shared his dream, created a vision and motivated change. Can you think of anyone that has had a vision and motivated change to make that vision come true? We see this everywhere in business; change is a part of everyday life in organizations.
For this week’s action assignment, please watch one of the following movies from the list below.
In each of the movies the main character(s) share a vision and are motivated to make changes to turn this vision into a reality.
Some questions to think about as you watch the movie are;
(1). What were the elements of the vision? What sources were needed to implement the change? Was this an evolutionary or revolutionary vision? What was the outcome?
Please write 2-3 page paper that reviews the movie you watched and addresses the questions listed above.
