1. Select 1 of the 7 Major Eras of Operations Management from Exhibit 1.11: (1) Cost and Efficiency, (2) Quality, (3) Customization and Design, (4) Time, (5) Service and Value, (6) Sustainability, or (7) Analytics and Data.
2. Create 3-5 minute PowerPoint Presentation using voice-over. Keep in mind that you have creative control of the design and structure of your presentation. However, all PPTs must include:
- Title slide (title & name)
- Content slides (title and image) NO ADDITIONAL TEXT
- Reference slide (*APA is not required, simply paste hyperlinks in a bulleted list)
IMPORTANT: For each content slide: add 1 image/graphic and include only a title (NO ADDITIONAL TEXT). Your goal is to verbally articulate the content that you deem most relevant. Remember, you only have a few minutes to discuss your “Era”… brevity and focus will be key!
