Online Discussion 10

We will be taking a journalistic approach for our last Online Discussion (10). Assume the role of a journalist, reflecting on a period or Chapter that peers into the social, cultural, economic, religious and diplomatic changes that have been taking place. Talk about your experiences and what cautionary reminders would you like to leave behind for someone reading your letter/article/ or account 10, 15, or 25 years from the time you are writing. What were some of these conditions before and what/why/how would you like to see these changes implemented. For example, many nationalistic and liberation movements underscore the social and political climate of Latin America in the 20th C. These movements are also underscored by economic abd political factors simultaneously. This is intended to get you to think about some of the bigger developments that have taken place throughout the chapter. You will be graded on the analysis and critical thinking that corresponds to the content from the chapter. You may also want to look at the previous chapters to see if the textbook has given you any sense of change that has or has not taken place. Please be sure to incorporate at least 4 key terms (please put them in bold/color code/or underline) in your online discussion/Journal entry. Continue to cite throughout your reporting as you have done previously (Chasteen 66). Journal responses should be a minimum of 450 words. This will be due December 6 (by 10:00PM).
