Ohio University Publication Bias Paper

Prepare a brief report to share with your staff regarding the potential impact of publication bias on conducting a review of the literature, the role of the peer review process in vetting the quality of research, and how publication bias might influence the decision-making process of health administrators. In your report, address each of the following four areas:

1. Define “publication bias” and provide two additional external references about the topic.
2. Reference the science versus pseudo-science and falsification videos from Week One, and discuss how these resources may relate to the issue of publication bias.
3. Discuss possible ways to minimize the impact of publication bias when conducting a literature review.
