Objective: Select a leader in Scripture whose leadership characteristics you wish to emulate.

Next, we want to narrow the list of the leaders you have surveyed to just one. Think about biblical leaders and if you could have dinner with any leader in the Bible who would it be and why? Below are some questions you may want to consider.

• Whose leadership style do you admire and why?
• Under what circumstances did this person come into leadership, and how did that influence his or her leadership?
• What deficits did he or she have to overcome?
• Did this person in fact overcome those deficits, or continue to lead in spite of them?
• What faults or weaknesses do you see in this person?
• In sum, what is it about this biblical leader that makes you want to emulate him or her?

Write a 3-4 page biographical paper examining a biblical character whose leadership style you wish to emulate.

To achieve maximum points for content and analysis, the following elements need thoroughly addressed for one biblical character:

• What makes this person tick?
• What causes him or her to be angry, sad, or joyful?
• What motivates this person?
• Provide the Scriptural references when alluding to the leadership characteristic you are highlighting.
• Provide at least one outside scholarly source beyond the textbook, Bible, and dictionary.
