Discussion 8: User Documentation

Find an online user documentation, this could be a reference document, procedural manual, or a tutorial.  Provide the URL for your peers along with your analysis based on the books guidelines for writing/crafting documentation topics.

Be sure to think about the following:

Did the documentation provide all the necessary instructions?

Was the online reference organized with the right documentation navigation controls

Marc

The documentation that I will be looking at is how to register for the VA loan HUB or LGYHUB. This document is put together very well. It has a cover page to let you know what the document is for. Then it has a table of contents. This is extremely helpful if you were to start the process but need to come back later. Each step has detailed instruction that is easy to follow and has a screenshot of what the page should look like. The document has a lot of steps to complete but if you are using this to get a VA loan then all the steps are necessary. Getting a VA loan can be stressful but this document takes some of the weight off of the veteran’s shoulders. I used this document for my own personal VA loan. So I can honestly say it works.
