Evidence-Based Practice Course Project Paper/Dissemination:

The final EBP assignment is the Evidence-Based Practice Course Project Paper/Dissemination assignment. Each learner will write an EBP paper on a clinical nursing topic in which it is put together and includes an introduction, PICOT question, literature review, recommended intervention, assumptions, disseminate strategy, possible ways to evaluate the intervention (this is not carried out by the learner, but only the suggested plan), and conclusion. The EBP paper should have a title page, reference page, and be in formal APA format.

In this course, it is critical to use current evidence! In nursing, current evidence and practice changes so quickly! It is vital to use current sources for your coursework that is dated within 5-7 years. That way you are basing your work and learning on the latest evidence!

Use the assignment paper template file located in the courseroom under Content, then the Template Folder. Incorporate prior feedback from Nancyruth for improvement. The paper template will prompt you on what items to include in the assignment and so will the grading rubric. When you use the paper template, add your project information, and then delete the prompts in the template.

See detailed items to include in your paper in the grading rubric. Learners will not actually carry this project out for the purpose of the course, but will demonstrate the process in course activities, such as the discussions, preparation worksheet, and final EBP paper/dissemination.

Note: Any information that is not your original idea must include a source citation in the text with a full reference on the reference page. This is the foundation of APA format. Failure to cite sources is considered plagiarism, whether intentional or unintentional. This is built into the assignment grading rubric. This is important to give credit where credit is due!

Sources must be current within 5 to 7 years, so you are basing your work on the latest evidence!
