CRITIQUE OF A JOURNAL ARTICLE
Choose an article from a professional journal that discusses topics from your course outline in Organizational Theory. They could be in Nursing or other disciplines’ journals. Only use one that is full text (not a shortened or abstract only version) from a professional nursing or other related discipline. It must pertain to an organizational behavior topic in this course.
Include the following HEADINGS in your paper:
Title page: with your name:
Introduction: Give the article title, author, journal name and a general statement introducing your topic and the reasons this is an important area to study.
In-depth Summary of the Article: Summarize the article, the general focus of the paper and the author’s conclusions. If a research paper—describe the research that was used
Discussion: Describe how the theory or ideas can or cannot be applied to Nursing.
Opinion: Is it relevant? Does this article make an important contribution to nursing’s
professional development ? Why? Why not? Discuss the ease or “dis-ease” of such an implementation to Nursing.
Reference Page: Article in APA format
Format: Use APA Style, scholarly writing, approximately 3 pages (not counting title page and reference page, Times Roman, 12 point font, double spaced, left sided justified, 1” margins on 4 sides
Turnitin score < 20%.
Submitting the Paper 1-2 days before the final due date, submit paper to the Assignment Section of Canvas where it is automatically put into Turnitin for you. Do not submit to a Turnitin site outside of this Canvas Course.
